Greatest comic book characters – 76. Booster Gold

First comic book appearance: Booster Gold No. 1

Booster Gold’s tagline, “The greatest hero you’ve never heard of” is completely accurate. Not just in the DC Comics world, but in general. A lot of people don’t know who he is. In the comics, no one knows all the things he’s done to keep them safe. Considering Booster’s story starts with him stealing a super-suit and later becoming one of the protectors of the timeline helps that. He starts off as a glory hound and ends up becoming one of reality’s greatest protectors.

All of the humor masks a huge heart. He’s another character that deserves his own animated feature. Don’t be shocked if he pops up in Harley Quinn.

Greatest comic book characters – 75. Tim Drake

First comic book appearance: Batman No. 436

Tim Drake found out Batman was Bruce Wayne before he was in high school. A feat that not even the smartest villains and heroes have figured out without help. Tim has constantly proven that he’s every bit the detective and genius that Batman is. Maybe more. He once created a training room using the mud from Clayface.

He may not be the fighter that the other members of the Bat-Family are, but that’s not who he is. Tim is a planner, an inventor, and a leader. Easily the most underrated member of the Bat-Family. Trust this writer. Read up on him and you’ll love what you see.
