Tobias is not going to win. Someway, Black Lightning is going to put a huge beatdown on him. It may not look as fancy as Khalil was when fighting his opponents, but it will feel better for viewers due to the emotions involved. Jefferson is going to let loose a lifetime’s worth of pain on his nemesis and every single hit will come with something extra from his family and friends. In the end, Tobias will end up in jail. Hopefully, this won’t be the last we see of Tobias Whale.

There’s more than enough room for Tobias in the Arrowverse. Considering that he planned on extending his reach to any city with meta-humans (he specifically said Metropolis and Star City), Tobias could become a major player across the universe. And why not? We’ve seen that he has the intelligence, drive, and manipulation skills to challenge anyone. It would be a disservice to everything Krondon has done as Tobias to stop his run here.

Let’s look at something else. Tobias has major reach as part/leader of the Shadow Board. Scaring them was a dangerous move but it may have worked out for him. If he really is in charge, he could get out of prison. There’s also the chance that they take offense to what he did and have him killed or let him stay there. Either way, Tobias’ fate will undoubtedly be one of the most intriguing aspects of the finale.
