This week, a new episode of Superman & Lois airs on The CW. The brand new series made its return last week and now it’s back with its seventh episode.
Superman and Lois had been on a very long hiatus. The show was forced to take a production break rather early in its run, so The CW took it off the air and replaced it with new episodes of Supergirl‘s sixth and final season. It returned last week with an epic installment that quickly reminded people why it’s one of this year’s greatest new shows.

Jordan Kent’s struggles with his emerging powers once again played a key role in the show’s returning installment. After accidentally injuring his brother, Jonathan, he collapsed on the porch of the Kent Farm, with Clark taking him to the Fortress of Solitude for help in what was undoubtedly the most edge-of-seat cliffhanger the show has produced yet.
This upcoming episode will see Clark confront The Stranger as we find out more about the mysterious Captain Luthor. It will also be directed by Arrow‘s David Ramsey – who will appear later on in the season, reprising his role as John Diggle from the original Arrowverse show.
