The CW has reportedly revealed its fall schedule for the 2021 – 2022 TV season and there are some major changes to look forward to.

Like its fellow networks, The CW’s TV schedule looked quite different in the 2020 – 2021 season as its regular programming wasn’t able to return until midseason. The result of the COVID-19 pandemic, all of the network’s original shows weren’t able to return to filming until late last year, meaning that new episodes couldn’t be aired until halfway through the season.

The network now seeks to reclaim some normality this season as its shows return to the fall timeslots they weren’t able to broadcast in last season. It will also open up Saturday nights for Prime Time viewing, meaning that two of its primary shows will now air on that night – a move that comes three years after it successfully opened up Sunday nights. And with that comes new beginnings for new shows that the network commissioned.

Before the upfronts, The CW announced that it wouldn’t be picking up Black Lightning spin-off Painkiller and that it would be redeveloping Powerpuff. It also revealed that new DC superhero series Naomi had received a full season order. So, on that note, as revealed by SpoilerTV, let’s see what the beginning of the new schedule looks like.

Note: It’s important to note that this is preliminary and The CW is expected to officially announce the full line-up in the near-future.
