Kung Fu has made quite the impression on TV viewers. The brand new CW series made an impact throughout its first half-season on the network and now it’s back to do so in the second half of its run.
Kung Fu became one of The CW’s most-watched premieres of the year. It then managed to recreate that success in its second week as its sophomore installment maintained almost all of that audience.

After having solid ratings all season, the show departed screens temporarily for a midseason hiatus that lasted just one week. It then returned last week with its midseason premiere and garnered more strong ratings for The CW.
However, it seems that the show will be taking yet another hiatus as there will be no new episodes of Kung Fu for some time. Naturally, fans want to know when the show will return.
Kung Fu season 1, episode 9 release date
Kung Fu will be taking another hiatus from The CW. That means that it won’t be airing for the next two weeks. However, the show is expected to return on Wednesday, June 23, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
With Nicky Shen back in her hometown of San Francisco, she has been attempting to keep her loved ones safe from any threats. However, the warrior has also been focused on taking down Zhilan – the woman who killed her shifu and is seeking the ancient mystical weapons that were to be protected from dangerous people such as her.
With Nicky having already crossed paths with Zhilan in the midseason finale, she knows what her opponent is capable of. Will she be able to stop Zhilan when they cross paths the next time? You can bet that she will get the chance to find out when the show returns for its final run of episodes.
