This Friday, Sweet Tooth premieres on Netflix. The latest comic book-inspired TV series created by the streamer, it will release the whole first season this week and you can watch it online.
Based on the DC/Vertigo comic book series of the same name by the legendary Jeff Lemire, Sweet Tooth focuses on a world a decade after what was known as “The Great Crumble” – an event that saw a virus ravage the world and led to the births of human-animal hybrids.

As it’s unknown whether those human-animal hybrids were affected by the virus or the cause of it, they are feared by much of the human race. Unfortunately, that also means they are hunted by them.
The series is definitely one of the most anticipated Netflix installments of the year and one of the many reasons for that is the fact that it is executive produced by Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey.
The show has already received an overwhelmingly positive reception from critics, with it currently holding a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so it goes without saying that it will be an adventure worth enjoying.
