What Marvel Comics characters could appear in Disney Plus’ Loki?
Loki could be the most anticipated Disney Plus show produced by Marvel Studios yet. WandaVision’s anticipation was moderate because no one knew what the show would be about. With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier we knew it would be action-packed but some fans wondered if the two characters would be enough to carry a show. In both cases, we didn’t expect what we got and they both turned out to be pleasant surprises.
With Loki, we know we’re getting Tom Hiddleston’s character with the spotlight directly on him – the way the God of Mischief would want it. Granted, it’s certain that we’ll be getting something different than what we got from the other two shows. Among those differences will be the Marvel Comics characters we may see.
One of the great things about these shows is that we’ve gotten surprise appearances from Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes and villains that were and weren’t previously introduced. Loki shouldn’t be any different. With him repairing the timeline he broke or just hopping through time in general, there are tons of characters we could meet. Here are the eleven that we’re likely to see in this series (besides Thor).
Black Widow
There has been talk on the internet that Vormir was seen in the Loki trailer. If that’s true, we could see Black Widow show up in Loki at some point.
Some believe that the mysterious person we see in the trailer is Loki as a woman (he’s done that in the comics) but some others believe it could be Natasha Romonoff. Is this how she returns to the MCU?
