Loki Wednesdays have finally begun, and the God of Mischief shines in a variety of moments during his debut episode.
After what has felt like a massive wait for new content from the Marvel Cinematic Universe since The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘s finale, Loki finally made its debut on Disney Plus on Wednesday night. Following the God of Mischief (played brilliantly by Tom Hiddleston), this show focuses on the Loki who escaped after the events of 2012’s Avengers film (which took place in Avengers: Endgame).
Due to Loki’s escape being a variance in the timeline, the God of Mischief is apprehended by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), who wish to make him answer for his crimes against the timeline. This leads to him discovering the TVA headquarters and their influence behind the MCU with Hiddleston’s character also discovering that he is a variant and should not technically exist.
This episode also gives us our first introduction to Owen Wilson’s Agent Mobius, who is set to play a big role in the series as he showcases his incredible chemistry with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. While this episode is sure to leave fans with many questions, including that villain reveal, the first episode provides many answers to questions and great moments for all fans to enjoy.
