This Tuesday, a new episode of The Flash season 7 airs on The CW. Yes, the Scarlet Speedster’s newest adventure is back for a new installment this week.
The Arrowverse‘s long-running series has just wrapped up the first of its two graphic novels (three if you include the one it carried over from season 6 in its first three episodes). It kicked off its second one by bidding farewell to long-standing and original character Cisco Ramon.

Last week’s installment saw Barry Allen trapped in a mental prison created for Cecile Horton. The reason that the pair ended up trapped there was the arrival of a mystical figure intent on using Psycho Pirate’s ancient mask to restore the power they once had – and they needed a mind as powerful as Cecile’s to make that happen.
Barry and Cecile successfully managed to overcome the being as the latter faced her demons head on. Now, this week’s installment will see a different character battle their demons, as Allegra Garcia will take on cousin Esperanza Garcia (a.k.a. Ultraviolet) in the hopes of reforming her. How will that play out, and just why is Barry Allen “off the grid”?
