Is Fast Color worth watching?

Do you want a superhero movie unlike anything you have seen before? Then you need Fast Color in your life.

There are so many reasons this is a must-watch superhero movie, but perhaps the biggest reason is that we have a family of black women who are superheroes. If you watch this movie for no other reason, you’re still winning.

In many ways, Fast Color is a journey of discovery and figuring out who you are as a person and how your family can be there for you as you make these discoveries. While there is a more supernatural element to this movie, it is still about a family of superheroes and that is brilliant.

Fast Color is so underrated and I know people who didn’t even know this movie existed. And that is a shame. This story is well told, beautifully crafted, and features heroes we wouldn’t normally see on our screens. And thanks to the drama of scientists wanting to study our leading lady and law enforcement people tracking her, we actually have a story we can really sink our teeth into.

This isn’t a typical superhero movie and that is why it works. If we could just get a sequel then this would be gold because they have left so much on the table for us, including more people with powers and gifts, and of course we need a rescue attempt. Either way, this movie needs to be watched by superhero fans looking for something different and unique.
