Is Guardians of the Galaxy worth watching?

Some of my personal favorite superhero movies are the fun ones. And sure, I enjoy a serious, dramatic take on these heroes. But the reality is that if it isn’t fun, why bother?

With Guardians of the Galaxy, we get superheroes that are a mess and yet make it work for themselves. And on top of that, we have a team of heroes. Now, while they may not have started out as heroes, they make it work. They do the things they probably shouldn’t do, and then they save the galaxy.

The fact that they have more than one movie under their belt is an added bonus and it has been nice seeing how this team works overtime. But the first movie is truly the best.

Not only is the cast great, but so is the soundtrack. And the fact that they built that music into the storyline just adds a little something more to the whole experience. Everything just makes sense with this movie and that makes a difference.

Finally, the best reason to watch more Guardians of the Galaxy is because it will make you smile. Seriously, if Groot and Rocket can’t bring a smile to your face, nothing will in the MCU.

Now we just need a third movie and maybe the addition of Thor in the mix to really spice things up!
