Is Thor: Ragnarok the best Thor movie?

Usually, the first movie in a series or trilogy is considered the best and it is hard for the sequels to top it. However, that is not the case when it comes to the Thor movies. In fact, Thor: Ragnarok is one of the best movies in the MCU for a lot of reasons.

Not only was it a fun movie, but it was loose and you could tell that everyone involved had a good time. There were serious moments like the storyline needed, but there were also these fun one-liners and just goofy scenes that added to the story rather than taking away from what we were enjoying.

The fact that was not just a Thor movie certainly helped make this better, because we got to see more of the Hulk/Bruce Banner, and we saw more of Loki in his usual state of mischief, and we even met some fun new characters.

Overall, Thor: Ragnarok was a well-balanced superhero movie that didn’t take itself too seriously and yet found a way to tell a story that did feature serious moments and offered us threads that we can take into future movies beyond this one. (And since we know there is a fourth Thor movie coming our way, hopefully, that means we get more of these characters and storylines for real.) Now, if only we could also get some more fun in the next film it would be perfect.
