Is Iron Man worth watching?

Considering it is the movie that actually started it all when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it actually makes sense that Iron Man is on the watch list when it comes to the best superhero movies.

But even if this wasn’t the start of the MCU as we know it, Iron Man is worth watching for a number of reasons – one of them being Robert Downey Jr. When it comes to acting chops, we know Downey Jr. has them and that is proven over and over again in this movie.

Not only do we get to see the birth of a superhero, but we also see the fall of a tech genius/billionaire (Tony Stark), followed by his rebirth and revival. While nothing can truly keep this man down, when it comes to Tony there are some interesting moments in this film that prove that even someone with all the money and genius in the world can be brought to their knees.

We learn a lot about Tony Stark in this one film. And whether that is his inherent need to be in charge to his ability to find a solution at any cost, it proves that when it comes to the direction the MCU took with its heroes, there was always going to come a day when Tony Stark put his life on the line for those he cares about.
