Best comic book movie moments: 72. Go **** yourself
Comic book movie: X-Men: First Class
Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr were recruiting the first class of X-Men. Along the way, they go to ask an unknown mutant to join. We soon find out that it’s Logan. Before they could get their pitch out, Logan politely tells them to well, bugger off may be the best term to use here.
This was exactly how Logan would have reacted back then. He didn’t care about anything except for his next drink, cigar, or woman in his life. Thankfully, we didn’t get a long and drawn-out conversation. It wouldn’t have fit Logan’s personality. It would have slowed down the pace of the scene too.
Best comic book movie moments: 71. Big man in a suit
Comic book movie: The Avengers
This was the first tense moment between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Steve called Tony out. He didn’t believe that Tony was really a hero. Tony replied saying everything that was special in Steve came from a bottle. Steve thought he had it figured out saying Tony was nothing without the Iron Man armor. Of course, Tony had a response. He reminded Steve that even without the suit he’s a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. Steve didn’t have much to say to that. Tony continued to prove himself worthy before and after this movie. He even made Steve proud.
