You can count on there being at least one speech in a comic book film that’s supposed to get a specific response. You’ll see some of them on this list. Certain speeches are meant to inspire a team into battle. Get them prepared to fight. Others like the antagonist telling the protagonist how and why they’re inferior is intended to break our hero’s spirit. Then there was Judge Dredd.

In this case, Sylvester Stallone’s “I am the law” moment didn’t get its intended response. It looked like it was supposed to be this deep moment. Instead, it came out being one of the most laughed at quotes in comic book movie history. Stallone’s been in iconic movies like Rocky, but we will never forget him saying those four words.

Comic book movie: The Losers

The Losers is this writer’s pick for the most underrated comic book movie. Looking back, it’s weird that there was never a sequel. Chris Evans, Jeffery Dean Morgan, and Zoe Saldana are among the most beloved stars in Hollywood. They’re also actors who have excelled in other comic book projects. There were tons of funny moments from this project. Among the best was Chris Evans infiltrating an office building.

Chris Evans’ character (Jensen) singing obnoxiously made everyone laugh. Next, as he’s changing to another outfit to get into character, the elevator door opens while his pants are down. Instead of hiding, he simply asked, “Like the angle of the dangle” as they started at his crotch. A scene that was well executed.
