Best comic book movie moments: 64.  Bane, planes, and automatic guns

Comic book movie: Dark Knight Rises

The U.S. Government was looking for Bane. They didn’t have to look very far. He was on the plane with them. He allowed himself to get captured. It was all part of his plan to crash their plane and leave no survivors. It worked out perfectly. He escaped with the scientist and none were the wiser.

This scene is goofy. The catchphrases that came out of this are unforgettable due to Bane’s voice. However, it added to making this memorable. You can’t hear any of these quotes without hearing his voice. It was a fantastic way to open the movie. Even if a lot of it made no sense.

Best comic book movie moments: 63. Keep practicing

Comic book movie: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The Foot Clan Ninjas come crashing through April O’Neil’s apartment windows and doors looking to kill the Ninja Turtles. When they arrive, one of them shows off their skills with nunchucks. Michaelangelo sees this and a challenge is begun.

They try to one-up each other until Michaelangelo does something impossible. He spins his nunchucks on his finger with ease. The Foot Clan Ninja stands in disbelief. Michelangelo simply tells him to keep practicing.

This could possibly be the most memorable moment in the movie. Possibly in the entire franchise. It involves showing off the Turtles’ skill on top of their personalities. Especially Donatello in the back. He reacted to Mikey winning the challenge like it was never in doubt.
