Best comic book movie moments: 54. Iron Man vs Captain America

Comic book movie: Captain America: Civil War

The fight between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers had been brewing since The Avengers. When Marvel Studios announced Civil War would be a Marvel movie, we all knew the fight was coming. The big question is would it live up to the hype. The comic book battle was something special. Would this be as well? In a word, yes.

Captain America and Iron Man beat each other down. What made this unforgettable was the creative team adding parts from the comic book. Stark’s armor adjusting to Cap’s moves and the repulsor blasts to Cap’s shield paid homage to the story comic book fans love. This may have been the weakest of the Captain America Trilogy, but this scene did not disappoint.

Comic book movie: Avengers: Endgame

When the final fight began in Avengers: Endgame, we all looked for the popular characters. Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Wakandan warriors were all accounted for. One person we may have forgotten about was Wanda Maximoff. We should’ve remembered her.

After what Thanos did to her in Avengers: Infinity War, the Mad Titan had some payback coming. Wanda appeared telling him that he took everything from her. Thanos took her lightly. That was a huge mistake. She then proceeded to put fear in him.

This was the first time a mortal actually scared him. So much so that he was willing to risk everything by calling down powerful blasts from his ship. He’s lucky. Wanda was going to rip him apart and probably do it slowly.
