Best comic book movie moments: 42. Marv goes looking for information

Comic book movie: Sin City

Marv was framed for a murder he didn’t commit. That’s on top of liking the woman who was killed. She may have used him, but, after Marv found out, he didn’t seem to care. After escaping the cops, he goes out looking for revenge. It’s a journey that will forever be one of the best comic book movie hunts ever.

The griminess and brutality involved with this scene embodied Sin City. The sometimes over-the-top violence, the cinematography made the savagery beautiful. Marv narrating the scene added to the beauty. His words told a story along with his action. Without Marv, and this scene, in particular, Sin City wouldn’t have been as good.

Her transformation was immaculate. She did a complete 180-degree change in personality and she was stunning and scary as she went through her metamorphosis. Slamming things around the room and creating her new persona. A personal favorite was cracking the letters in her, “Hello there” to say, “Hell here.”
