Best comic book movie moments: 18. Nightcrawler White House

Comic book movie: X2: X-Men United

Nightcrawler is a fan favorite. He’s beloved by comic book enthusiasts as well as those who aren’t versed. It’s impressive since he only had one appearance in the 1990’s cartoon. Although, he was a major part of X-Men: Evolution.  When he made his movie debut, people were ecstatic. We got to see what teleporting powers looked like on the big screen.

With the advancement of special effects, you’d think that there would have been an improvement in teleportation scenes. There hasn’t been. They haven’t been duplicated this well before or since. Hopefully, the MCU can improve on what 20th Century Fox made incredible.

Best comic book movie moments: 17. Interrogation

Comic book movie: Dark Knight

After Batman and Joker went on their epic chase scene, it was time for them to officially meet. Sure, they had a moment at the Harvey Dent function, but this was the first time they truly met. They could have a conversation and try to figure each other out. What Batman learned was that Joker is nothing he’d ever seen before.

Because Batman couldn’t figure the Joker out. This took him out of his element. It caused him to become more aggressive and more irrational. And pain wasn’t going to motivate Joker to tell Batman what he wanted to know. Even when he did, it was only because it was part of Joker’s plan.
