What Marvel Comics characters could be behind the TVA and the Timekeepers in Disney Plus’ Loki?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe-set Disney Plus shows have all differed but there is one exception: They’ve all had major moments occur around the halfway point. Loki continued that trend as, in episode, we learned that the Time Variance Authority agents and staff weren’t created by the Time-Keepers; they are actually variants who’ve had their memories erased. In episode 4, however, viewers found out that the Time-Keepers weren’t who they were told they are either; they are machines.

The episode ends with two major cliffhangers. First, Sylvie orders Ravonna to tell her what’s really going on. Second, after Loki is pruned, he finds himself somewhere else in the mid-credit scene surrounded by other Lokis. It makes you wonder if pruning beings actually kills beings or sends them somewhere else. Or maybe the pruning does something else altogether. All of these revelations lead to two big questions. Who is behind the Timekeepers and what they’re up to.

Recently, an article by Bam Smack Pow‘s Michael Patterson put forward with two brilliant ideas, exploring the possibility that Kang the Conqueror will arrive sooner than expected. Or maybe Miss Minutes isn’t what she says she is – we saw something similar in WandaVision with Agatha Harkness. Those options are definitely feasible options. On that note, this writer has a few ideas of his own.
