8. Taskmaster

Taskmaster was being chased by Black Widow for a murder he didn’t commit (see Taskmaster in 2020). Instead of standing his ground and fighting, he ran away scared. Now to out that in perspective, he has fought Spider-Man, Captain America, Deadpool, and more, but Black Widow terrified him enough to make him flee the scene.

Moreover, in that series, he had to fight Hyperion – a being who has the power of a god. But that still didn’t frighten him like the thought of fighting Natasha Romanoff. That says a lot about her. This writer can’t wait to see those two fight on the big screen production in Black Widow.

7. Clint Barton

Clint Barton has a complicated relationship with Natasha Romanoff. They’ve dated before and have both moved on to other relationships, particularly Clint – who spends a lot of time bouncing from one relationship to the next. Despite that, it appears that Clint is upset that Natasha doesn’t care for him the way he does for her.

His frustration, however, may not be romantically-driven. During Kelly Thompson’s Black Widow, Clint was hurt that everyone in Natasha’s life had a place: Her husband James (named after Bucky), her son Stevie (Captain America) and even the cat’s name was Logan. Natasha reminded Clint that she didn’t make up the names. Nevertheless, they probably came from her subconscious.
