Black Widow is finally here. The long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe movie felt like it was never going to hit movie theaters but it has finally arrived for the world to enjoy.
The film has had quite the journey to getting released. It was originally supposed to hit theaters in May 2020 but the outbreak of the novel coronavirus resulted in movie theaters closing. The film was then rescheduled to November (as Marvel Studios moved Eternals which had previously held that spot) but when it became clear that more delays were on the horizon, the studio moved it to May 2021.

However, the decision was then made to move it to July and also make it available on Disney Plus Premier Access so that fans could decide if they wanted to see it in a movie theater or from the comfort of their own.
The 24th film installment in the MCU, it stars Scarlett Johansson as the titular hero, Natasha Romanoff, as she returns to Russia to revisit the past that has only been briefly referred to in the MCU up until this point. It is a prequel to the current MCU timeline in that it’s set after the events of Captain America: Civil War but before the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. It also stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz
How to watch Black Widow online
Black Widow will be available to stream on Disney Plus Premier Access from July 9, 2021 at a cost of $29.99 for subscribers of the service. It will be uploaded to the content library and available to stream from 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET.
