This Tuesday, a new episode of Superman and Lois airs on The CW. The network’s newest entry in their ever-growing Arrowverse, it recently returned from a hiatus with a huge episode and now it’s back with another.
The previous episode of the series saw the Man of Steel team up with the man known as Steel as Clark found a friend in his former enemy, John Henry Irons. The latter had been recruited by Lois Lane after her husband had sacrificed his own freedom so that Morgan Edge/Tal Rho wouldn’t harm their family, with the ace reporter hoping he could stop him before it was too late.

While General Sam Lane wanted Irons to be prepared for the worst case scenario – Superman being irreversibly turned – Lois needed to prove that wouldn’t happen. And in the end she was right when Irons successfully managed to get through to Clark – who exorcised the consciousness of General Zod from his mind.
With an appearance from Arrow‘s John Diggle and the retrieval of Edge himself, Superman & Lois continues to provide us with high quality content on a weekly basis. With the season finale approaching, that likely won’t be changing.
