Ms. Marvel: 5 reasons to get excited for the Disney Plus show

Ms. Marvel is going to shock the world when her Disney Plus series debuts in late 2021.
Executive Vice President of Film Production at Marvel Studios Victoria Alonso confirmed that Ms. Marvel will make its debut before 2021 is over. And after seeing how great this year’s previous Disney Plus offerings, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki were, there’s no reason to doubt that Ms. Marvel will be just as good.
Kamala Khan made her Marvel Comics debut in 2013 in Captain Marvel No. 14. Ever since, she’s been a fan-favorite. Her love of superheroes makes her relatable. After all, who wouldn’t be excited to meet their heroes (even if you’re one yourself)? We’ve also seen her grow a great deal. She isn’t just a fan anymore. In Civil War, she stood up to her idol, Carol Danvers, when she was going to imprison her friend Miles Morales (a.k.a. Spider-Man).
Ms. Marvel’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will impress people just like the comic book did, and here’s why.
The beginning of Ms. Marvel
Kamala Khan immediately became a beloved character in Marvel Comics. This writer expects the same thing to happen on her Disney Plus series. Kamala’s personality is among the most innocent; she loves what she does and completes missions with a smile – even when things seem bleak. That’s the part that people will gravitate towards. This is on top of her journey to becoming a hero.
Kamala’s trek to becoming one of the greats is far from over. In the MCU, it hasn’t even begun. We have the privilege of seeing her grow as a character right from the start. Pair this with seeing Iman Vellani kickstart her career and this has the makings of something truly special.
