Hawkeye: 5 reasons you should be excited for the Disney Plus show

More unknown villains could show up
Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine sent Yelena after Clint Barton. As a result, we can guess that Yelena will be one of the threats in Hawkeye. But it’s doubtful that she’ll be the only one in this series, especially given that Yelena will probably find out that Clint wanted to sacrifice himself so Natasha didn’t have to.
Marvel Studios will likely give Clint and Kate Bishop another major threat to fight. A new powerful threat for the burgeoning heroes been the theme with each of the Disney Plus MCU shows thus far, so Kate will need a formidable villain to overcome. Don’t be shocked if Madame Masque is the other villain in this series. After all, she has a history with Kate Bishop in the comics.
Yelena Belova returns
Black Widow may have been Natasha Romanoff’s first solo movie, but Yelena Belova stole the show. She was everything that we wanted from Black Widow’s successor: Cool, deadly, and stealthy. The creative team added quite a funny personality to her as well. That’s how she became the best part of Black Widow. Now, the fans want more.
Yelena’s popularity will definitely result in a lot of her fans checking out Hawkeye, eager to know how she’s going to deal with going after the guy responsible for her sister’s death. Will she maintain her cool nature or does she get emotional and reckless?
It could also suggest where Yelena will be headed in the next phase of the MCU. Will she stay with Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and possibly become a villain? Will Yelena become an Avenger or a member of A-Force? Or will she do all of this and more? Hawkeye will reveal answers to at least one of these questions.
