Weapon Plus is back
Comic book: X-Force No. 21
While attempting to find a being in the woods, X-Force comes across a being they assumed was terrorizing people. They discover that it isn’t their enemy. It’s actually been protecting people. Once Logan talked to it, it explained what it’s running from. It’s an experiment from an offshoot of Weapon X called the Weapon Plus program. Something that Logan has a lot of history with.
Batman to take Cheerdrops
Comic book: Batman: Urban Legends
Red Hood has been chasing down the distributor of a drug called Cheerdrops. In his haste, he was captured by Mr. Freeze. Thankfully, Batman saved him. The unfortunate part is Batman was captured in the process. Batman was brought to the drug’s creator Cheer who plans on giving Batman Cheerdrops. Cheerdrops will make Batman believe that his war of crime is over.
Nightwing’s sister is older
Comic book: Nightwing No. 82
When we last saw Nightwing, he was unmasked and told by Melinda Zucco (the mayor of Bludhaven) that she’s his sister. This left readers to think that Dick Grayson’s father was unfaithful. This wasn’t the case. She was conceived before Nightwing’s parents got together and then taken away by Tony Zucco. We’ll still have to wait and see what happens next for them. Maybe Nightwing will have a friend in high places.
Sin is back
Comic book: The United States of Captain America No 2 (of 5)
In the next issue of The United States of Captain America, Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson come across Nichelle Wright. Another person in the Captains Network. Steve and Sam get her out of jail and protect her from being killed by the two people posing as representations of Captain America.
The end of the issue shows who they are under the masks. The guy is a former member of the Thunderbolts named Speed Demon. The woman, and leader of the two, is one of Cap’s deadliest enemies, the Red Skull’s daughter Sin (now being called Superior).
