10. Thanos
The Mad Titan Thanos isn’t just a top tier villain. He has now become one of the most popular characters in the decade-long history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His reasoning for wanting to rid the universe of half its population was well-received by fans because it made him a layered character. It also helped that he had a way with words and never seemed bothered by any situation no matter how dire. Even as he was snapped away, he just sat down and let it happen. He accepted his fate and let it happen. It all makes you wonder how he turned into the evil being we saw.
Thanos said that he had to watch as the resources on his home planet Titan were depleted. This is what led him on his journey. But that’s only part of the story. Someone doesn’t just wake up one day and decide to set the world right. They certainly aren’t always as scary as Thanos. How did he become the most feared person in the universe? What kind of training did he go through to make him so skilled? How did he amass his massive army and the Black Order? This and other questions would make for a deep and entertaining feature.
