9. Asgard

Asgard has been around for eons. Because of the Thor movies, many people often assume that the Shining City began with Odin – even though we saw Odin’s father (Bor Burison) in the beginning of Thor: The Dark World.

He was the one that defeated Malekith and took the Aether for him. After he died, Odin became King of Asgard. Moreover, Thor: Ragnarok showed us that he and his daughter Hela brought the Nine Realms together with war. That led to Hela being imprisoned before she then returned ready for revenge, and bringing about the destruction of Asgard.

We know about the battles, but fans would rather see them than just hear about them. And aside from that, there is so much more to the Asgardian story that is just waiting to be told.

8. Hawkeye

Hawkeye has been on countless missions in his lifetime. The few that we know about seem to have been full of action, explosions, and bad jokes with Black Widow, especially the Budapest assignment. It’s unfortunate that we’ve never actually seen any of these missions. Natasha Romanoff herself teased one of them in Black Widow when she mentioned that she and Hawkeye spent two days in a vent. Who knows what their other missions – and the conversations that resulted from them – were like.

There’s also Hawkeye’s skills as a marksman. It isn’t just with a bow and arrow either. He mentioned his impeccable aim when he said he played golf and shot a perfect game. How did he get so good? Was it practice? Did he go through a program like his Ultimate Universe counterpart did?

Plus, there’s his family. How does a guy like Clint Barton end up with someone who understands his life and is as accepting? His wife Laura knew the dangers that were involved, stayed with him to face them together, and the pair started a family. Maybe she was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent as well. Or she could just acknowledge that this is the life he wanted. Regardless, this is another story we’d all like to see. Then again, maybe we’ll see some of this in Hawkeye later this year.
