Fans of Suicide Squad can now enjoy the Margot Robbie-led DCEU movie.

The Suicide Squad is set to bring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn back to the big screen in an ensemble showdown from James Gunn. However, this isn’t the first time she has led the DC Extended Universe’s bunch of irrational antiheroes into battle.

Robbie, Joel Kinnamin, Viola Davis and Jai Courtney were all joined by Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz and Scott Eastwood in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad back in 2016.

The movie was negatively received by critics and, even though it was a massive box office success, it was one of the many parts of the DCEU reboot that led to more standalone movies instead. And even though the upcoming movie isn’t really connected to that one, it is still essentially a sequel.

If you live in the UK and you’re looking to catch up before you see the new movie, then you’re in luck because the original film is now on Netflix!

You can now watch Suicide Squad on Netflix UK

Suicide Squad is now available to watch on Netflix in the UK. The 2016 film was added to the streaming service in July, no doubt in an attempt to get fans even more excited for the upcoming release of the 2021 sequel.

Unfortunately, The Suicide Squad is unlikely to hit Netflix at any time in the near future as Warner Bros. films will no longer be heading straight to streaming or VOD services in the UK now that cinemas in the UK and Ireland have reopened. However, the 2021 film is currently in movie theaters after being released a week before its US release.
