Superman and Lois season 2, episode 1 release date: When does the show return for season 2?
It will be some time before Superman and Lois season 2 hits screens. When can fans expect it to return?
Superman and Lois has thrilled fans this year. The newest DC Comics TV series has appealed to viewers of all ages, exciting those that were already watching the other well-established Arrowverse shows while drawing in a host of new fans at the same time.
Airing on screens since February, the show’s debut season ran for 15 episodes on The CW (with a few hiatuses in the middle) and told the story of how Lois Lane and Clark Kent moved their family back to Smallville in the hopes of starting afresh after a very trying time.
However, a new series of problems came to light when one of their twin sons, Jordan, began to exhibit Kryptonian powers and his brother, Jonathan, understandably struggled with the idea of starting afresh in a new location. And then there’s the fact that the corrupt Morgan Edge revealed that he was actually the Man of Steel’s half-brother and sought to bring a host of evil Kryptonians to Smallville.
It has been an incredible journey watching Superman & Lois grow into one of the most compelling TV shows of the year, but when can we expect it to return for its second season?
When does Superman and Lois season 2 come out?
Superman and Lois season 2 does not have an official premiere date as of yet but we do know that the show won’t be returning to screens until at least early 2022.
The CW recently unveiled its fall 2021 schedule and, while shows like Batwoman season 3 and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 7 are on it, Superman and Lois season 2 is being held until midseason (along with the like of Kung Fu season 2 and DC’s Stargirl season 3).
