What If…? episode 4 spoilers: What is the fourth episode about?
Marvel’s What If…? will return with its fourth episode next week, but what is that episode about?
Marvel’s What If…? has already etched its place among this year’s most intriguing new TV shows – a list on which the Disney Plus show will undoubtedly be accompanied by predecessors WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.
The new series, which takes a look at what would have happened if just one minor difference had been made to many of the journeys that we saw take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, envisions worlds incredibly different from the one viewers are used to – highlighting how one minor alteration to the timeline could have drastic effects on the events that go down.
The first episode revealed what would have happened if Peggy Carter became the First Avenger, with Captain Carter fighting a beast from another world that was unleashed by Red Skull. The second showcased T’Challa, who had become that universe’s version of Star-Lord after being taken by Yondu and the Ravagers as a child. And the most recent, the third episode, gave us a chance to see what would have happened during the events of The Avengers if the titular heroes weren’t around when Loki arrived.
But what can fans expect from the fourth episode?
What If…? episode 4 plot synopsis
An official plot synopsis has not yet been released for Marvel’s What If…? episode 4. However, we do know that it will feature Doctor Strange taking on an evil version of himself.
According to reports and rumors, the Sorcerer Supreme will turn to dark magic after losing a loved one, resulting in him going down a dark path that could result in him facing off against himself.
Marvel’s What If…? episode 4 streams exclusively on Disney+ next Wednesday, September 1, at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET.
