The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer is finally here and it has left us with many questions
After much anticipation and speculation, the first trailer for Tom Holland’s latest adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally been released, and boy does it pack a punch!
The trailer features Peter Parker dealing with the outcome of Spider-Man: Far From Home, where the villainous Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed Parker’s identity through the notorious J.J. Jameson (J.K. Simmons). This reveal has turned the hero’s life upside down, along with the lives of his friends and Aunt May.
Desperate to reset the status quo, Peter seeks out everyone’s favourite magician for help, as Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) agrees to help the world forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Of course, the spell goes array and now the pair must deal with the outcome of breaking space and time, opening up the multiverse.
This means that villains from both Sam Raimi’s and Marc Webb’s Spider-Man films are able to cross over into the MCU, creating a live-action Spider-Verse film that has been rumoured since talks about the plot of the film began.
While this trailer is set to satisfy a number of fans, many are going to still be left with a number of huge questions created by the footage that Marvel have showcased.
