27 best Marvel characters that have never appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Has Doctor Doom been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?
Victor von Doom is possibly the most anticipated character in the MCU. This is despite having two incredibly poor representations in the live-action movies. Neither of the portrayals have shown the world what Doom is capable of. He’s not a “strip mall scientist” as Ben Grimm called him in the first Fantastic Four and he’s definitely more threatening and arrogant than the version in the 2015 Fantastic Four. There are so many layers that were missed. Hopefully, a fresh start will change all of this.
There’s a lot riding on Doctor Doom. While he’s primarily a Fantastic Four antagonist, Doom has never been shy about challenging everyone. He’s come closer than anyone has to taking over Wakanda (Doomwar), he’s been a literal god (Secret Wars), and he’s also defeated Galactus (see Dan Slott’s Fantastic Four). These are only some of his accomplishments. They’re definitely impressive, but there’s more to Doom than his wins.
Victor von Doom is one of the two or three smartest people in the universe. One thing that sets him over is he doesn’t restrict himself to just science. Doom’s knowledge of the mystic arts is right there with Doctor Strange. An ability he uses almost as much as his science. When all of this is added to the MCU, he’ll dwarf any villain we’ve seen.
