Has Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?
Jessica Drew is on the list of Marvel Comics characters that have done more than most. She’s been a detective, Avenger, and agent of S.W.O.R.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D. , Hydra, and been on both Captain America and Luke Cage’s Avengers. Now, even with a child, she manages to be a phenomenal hero and mother.
Introducing her in a Disney Plus show could be a good idea. It gives the audience time to see how she came up in the ranks. But, after she breaks into the MCU, give her a solo movie sooner rather than later.
Fans expect more than that from the MCU projects. The action is fine, but what else is there? If someone wanted only action, they could watch Fast and the Furious. The MCU adding different aspects to their films is what brings people in. Jessica Drew can be more than just an action hero.
Maybe the best thing is for her to be in a film noir detective movie. it could have that kind of feel while she’s working with Abigail Brand. The two of them worked together with S.W.O.R.D. After Secret Invasion, maybe they can do her previous comic book run where she’s hunting down rogue Skrulls.
