Has The Sentry been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?

The Sentry is sometimes called Marvel Comics’ Superman. That’s a false statement. They both fly at super speeds, are almost completely invulnerable and have levels of strength that seem insurmountable. That’s where their similarities stop.

Superman is a being that fights for good. Sentry fights because he’s told that’s what he’s supposed to do. Superman is a great teammate and friend. Norman Osborn perfectly put it that The Sentry could kill someone and not realize he did it. In short, he couldn’t do a quarter of the things Superman accomplishes.

If this writer is being honest, the Sentry isn’t a good hero. He’s probably one of the worst. Whenever there’s a big fight, he tends to run or is easily defeated by being manipulated. All of his flaws are why he needs to be in a movie. We need to see him be as strong as he can be, yet still see him weak and defeated. People have this idea that strength makes a hero. Sentry proves that it takes more than that. It would be great to see him be the super-strong Golden Guardian of Good that later runs away after being scared.

With the Sentry comes his almost unbeatable other personality, the Void. Everything that Sentry is, the Void isn’t. His level of power can’t be charted, he’s confident, and never seems to appear in the same form. To put it in perspective, the Void once ripped Ares in half with ease and still had enough power to kill Loki soon after.
