Has Enchantress been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?
It’s shocking that we haven’t seen Amora (the Enchantress) in any of the Thor projects. Not a snarky face in the audience, plan with Loki, or even a mention. She’s one of Thor’s most persistent adversaries. She’s tried to kill and seduce him on multiple occasions. She was also part of the assault in the 10 Realms during the War of the Realms crossover.
Amora will likely always battle Thor. However, she’s recently been going up against Carol Danvers. When Captain Marvel ends up in a possible future, she comes across the son of Amora and Namor, Ove. In this future, they rule the world by keeping heroes brainwashed or captured.
Obviously, Carol Danvers wasn’t going to let that happen. Eventually, the two women come to blows after Amora discovers that Captain Marvel wants to take her future son’s powers away (time travel is always wacky) and now they have a rivalry.
One of the best things about the Enchantress is that she’s not a one-person villain. As the previous paragraph shows, Amora’s currently angry with Captain Marvel. And, since she’s tied to magic, she’s an antagonist that could go up against Doctor Strange. Her debut in the MCU will be amazing. It would have been nice to see her with the Executioner. Their relationship is weird.
