Has M.O.D.O.K. been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?
If your introduction to M.O.D.O.K. was the show on Hulu, you’d assume that he was a goofy character. Part of that is true. He is goofy at times. He says ridiculous things and looks the part as well. That’s where the silliness stops.
M.O.D.O.K. (Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing) is one of the smartest beings in Marvel Comics.
The problem with M.O.D.O.K. is that he’s the dumbest smart person in the world. He continuously does foolish and dangerous things that get him in trouble with SH.I.E.L.D., the Avengers, and A.I.M. Seriously, he’s the leader of A.I.M. and constantly gets kicked out of the organization. How bad of a leader do you have to be to get removed from a group based on science when you’re a genius?
M.O.D.O.K. has not had a good run in pop culture. His best moment may have been in the Marvel VS Capcom games. The Avengers game didn’t help either. Marvel Studios has a chance to make him a villain to be feared. A guy that’s more than a giant head on a floating toilet with armaments. And, if they don’t, we’ll get a villain to laugh at.
