Has Juggernaut been in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie?

Cain Marko has been one of the X-Men’s oldest villains (premiering in 1965 in The X-Men No. 12). What’s funny is as many times as he’s fought them, recently, he’s been on their side. This writer is on record saying that Juggernaut makes a better hero than a villain. To tell that story, you have to start with him as a bad guy.

As much as Juggernaut is an antagonist for the X-Men, he’s spent a lot of time battling a lot of other heroes along the way. We saw him fight Wade Wilson in Deadpool 2. A rivalry that’s happened in the comics. He’s also had more than a few bouts with Thor, Spider-Man, and The Hulk. Juggernaut may not be as strong as the Hulk, but he’s fought him to a standstill. He’s even held his own against Thor.

The MCU needs Juggernaut. He’s a strong villain that can challenge entire teams regardless of their power set. And since Marvel Studios loves their relatable and redemption stories, they can eventually make him a hero at the end of a project. Hopefully, he won’t be a one-and-done character. He’s someone that should stick around for a long time. Especially since he has ties to more than one franchise.
