Lobo betrays his daughter

Comic book: Crush & Lobo No. 3

Against her better judgement, Crush spent the first couple of issues going to meet her father Lobo in space prison. She knew something was up, but decided to give this a shot anyway. After getting there, Crush and Lobo had a good talk. It seemed like everything was going well and Lobo wanted to change. However, every DC Comics fan knew that something was up and we were right.

Lobo put his monitor chip on Crush so the robotic guards would recognize her as a Czarnians. Since there are only two left in the universe, it was easy for her to be recognized as the proper inmate. Now, Crush is in prison instead of her father.

Why is this important?

There are a few things to think about here. First, how does Crush escape? We know she’s not going to be in prison forever. It’s likely that she’ll be out before issue 4 is over. Second, will Lobo be the one to break her out? The series is called Crush & Lobo. Obviously they both have to be involved. Lastly, if she isn’t rescued by her father, how will she react when she catches up to him? Actually, how will she respond if he does break her out? This will definitely end with punching.
