Dormammu has a body

Comic book: Guardians of the Galaxy No. 17

The Last Annihilation has proven to be every bit as good as the first Annihilation. It starts with Dormammu killing Ego (Guardians of the Galaxy No. 15), taking him over, and becoming it. Dormammu was now a living planet. He then sent his mindless ones to destroy beings on different planets. What looked like random attacks turned out to be calculated. Doom discovered that Dormammu was taking planets in the shape of a pentagram. We find out why at the end of the issue: Not only is Dormammu a giant planet, he now has a giant body to go with it.

Why is this important?

When Dormammu became a planet, that was a scary sight. Now, he has a body to match his planet-sized head. It’s doubtful Dormammu has ever been this powerful. He may not even need the Mindless Ones anymore.

With this story arc coming to an end, defeating Dormammu will prove to be an incredible feat. In Cable Reloaded No. 1, Nathan Summers recruits a team and goes to Breakworld. We find out that Cable’s mission was to make a giant gun. Meanwhile, Rocket creates a giant bullet. Looks like he wasn’t joking when he said his plan was to shoot Dormammu in the head.
