Episode 4 of Marvel’s What If…? was the most depressing project that Marvel Studios has put out since Avengers: Infinity War. In some ways, the episode of the Disney Plus series may have been worse. At least in that case, half of reality was spared. The only survivor left in episode 4 was a weeping Doctor Strange.
As soon as the episode ended, fans took to the internet. Everyone was saddened by what they saw. Even though this wasn’t Doctor Strange from the Marvel Cinematic Universe or reality 616, it was still a version of a character we knew and loved. After everything that we witnessed, the fans could use some happiness. But is that what’s coming next?

Originally, we all thought that Party Thor would be showing us all a good time. If this was a jamboree on Earth, it would be one to remember. However, we’ll have to wait for the God of Thunder’s soiree as we’re about to get a different, much darker installment in Episode 5 instead.
The next episode will focus on Marvel Zombies as many of the MCU’s beloved heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America and Hawkeye transform into the undead, leaving the Incredible Hulk in shock.
