This Thursday, Doom Patrol season 3 kicks off its run on HBO Max. The show has been off TV screens for over a year and now it’s back with brand new episodes.
Looking to make a big impression on fans, however, it won’t just be releasing one episode. No, the Warner Bros. streaming service will be unveiling three new episodes for fans to enjoy.
Doom Patrol was the first of the DC Universe shows to join HBO Max when its second season was exclusive to both streaming services. As a result, it also became the last of the service’s original programs as it was soon announced that it would be shutting down as a streamer and that all of its ongoing original programming would migrate to HBO Max (with the exception of DC’s Stargirl which moved to The CW).
While the show is technically a spin-off of Titans, it takes place in a different established reality and has quickly become one of the most beloved (and critically-acclaimed) shows in the comic book genre. Needless to say, fans are excited for Doom Patrol to return for season 3.
