2. Could Thor and Captain Marvel survive the nuclear explosion?
S.H.I.E.L.D.’s last resort to stop Thor’s world-ending party was to hit him with nukes. At first, the plan was to see if Captain Marvel’s full power could stop him. But Maria Hill didn’t want to wait and find out. She had her finger ready to send bombs their way before the earth-shattering punch was thrown. Before things could get worse, though, Frigga showed up and calmed everything down.
If Captain Marvel punched Thor with everything she had, could he survive? If he did, would either of them have enough power to keep fighting? Furthermore, what if Maria Hill shot the nukes before Captain Marvel hit Thor? Would either of them have lived? If they did, what happens then? Surely Captain Marvel and Thor wouldn’t forgive and forget an attempted murder.
1. What If…? UltronVision
Uatu the Watcher said that Thor and Jane Foster were going to live happily ever after, leaving everyone watching this episode to smile as it ended on a positive note. Of course, we should have known better – after all, even the previous happy episodes ended with an “uh oh” moment. In this case, Ultron appeared with the Infinity Stones. And this Ultron looks like Vision.
In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor helped Jarvis become Vision when he was confused. Without Thor, that wouldn’t have happened. What occurred next? Did he kill the Avengers and then consume Ultron? Is Ultron actually in Vision’s body? What did his journey to get the Infinity Stones look like? Did he kill Thanos? We need answers!
