What can we expect from The Boys spinoff?

We already know that The Boys’ untitled spin-off is going to be a combination of a college show and The Hunger Games. We can also pretty much confirm that we will see a lot of moments that will undoubtedly make us drop our jaws. There are other things to note before the show drops.

First, if it’s anything like it’s predecessor, everyone on it will probably be expendable. If you like a character, don’t get too attached. They’re probably going to die. Even if they win the contest, there’s no guarantee that they won’t be killed right as the show ends. It’s hard to see any of the characters becoming a legit superhero. Vought International doesn’t care about anything except money. If the winner doesn’t fall in line, they’ll probably be killed.

Second, you’re undoubtedly going to see a lot of messed up things. The Boys isn’t known for holding back and we already know that this show will highlight a number of boundary-pushing events that the characters will find them in. It might see this as a real opportunity to reflect the darker side of some people’s college experiences, showcasing the harsh reality of what happens when you have people who use their power (and in this case abilities) to get whatever they want. If that is the case, hopefully there will be repercussions to the perpetrators’ actions.

Lastly, there is a possibility that we could see a super-team involved from the comic books. That team is the G-Men. In the source material, the G-Men are a team of frat boys who do some weird things. They were stolen from their families at a young age and had heinous things done to them. The G-Men are also the highest selling property for Vought in the comics. Hopefully, they won’t go the route of what the G-men went through to become superheroes. Some things shouldn’t be mentioned.
