The Boys’ R-rated college spin-off greenlit at Amazon: Here’s what we know

In closing…

Creating a spin-off for The Boys is a genius idea . It allows fans to see things that they normally wouldn’t without adding too much to the original show. Too many stories in one season can ruin a series and there is already a lot going on in The Boys. There will always be plots revolving around Homelander, Billy Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight. Adding new characters and the element of the college experience is too much for one season of The Boys. Can you picture all of the unconventional tasks and games that we’ll see? Think of Double Dare, but add a healthy dose of reality TV.

If this spin-off is a success, there is a strong chance we could see more spin-offs. The Boys’ universe is full of possibilities and there are a plethora of topics to use. For example, a  series around the inner workings on Vought International could work, especially if you have Ashley Barrett (played by Colby Minifie) as one of the stars and Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) making appearances as well.

This is only one of the many ideas that could be explored. Don’t be surprised if The Boys universe continues to expand if this spin-off series does well. They haven’t let us down yet. There’s no reason to think they’ll start now.
