Supergirl season 6 returns to The CW with the thirteenth episode of its sixth and final season. Here’s how you can watch “The Gauntlet” online.

This Tuesday, Supergirl is back on The CW. The long-running Arrowverse show had been off viewers’ screens since its midseason finale in May but it is now back to make an impact that fans won’t forget.

The show is in the midst of its sixth and final season, meaning that the Girl of Steel is preparing to bow out for the final time (on her show at least). But before she does fly off into National City’s skies, she will embark on one final stretch of episodes.

Supergirl season 6 kicked off earlier in the year when spin-off Superman and Lois had to take an unexpected lengthy hiatus due to a COVID-related production break. The Girl of Steel swooped in with the Super Friends and aired new episodes in the new Arrowverse show’s slot. And after doing that for seven weeks, it took a midseason hiatus so that Superman and Lois could return.

Season 6 has primarily focused on the team’s attempts to rescue Kara from the Phantom Zone after Lex Luthor trapped her there. They were successful in doing so when the Super Friends used J’onn’s ship to find and locate her, giving her strength she needed to survive. And she also found her thought-to-be-dead father Zor-El – who joined her as the pair escaped together. Lately, however, the Super Friends have had their hands full with Nyxly, who also returned from the Phantom Zone and is intent on causing chaos in National City.
