Crush makes a deal

Comic book: Crush & Lobo No. 4

Crush being betrayed by her father Lobo surprised no one. He’s a scoundrel who will do anything to make himself happy. Since being in space prison prevented that, he had to find a way to get out. He used his daughter to replace him in prison. Since there are only two Czarnians in the universe, and the guards only saw the DNA, it was an easy switch.

Now, Crush has a chance to stay out of prison. All she has to do is find Lobo, capture him, and bring him back to prison. Completing one of these tasks alone is difficult. All three are nearly impossible. Plus, if she doesn’t do it in 48 hours, her head will explode.

Why is this important?

Crush is about to show everyone she’s as good of a tracker as her father. Finding him will be step one of proving how great she is. Step two will be defeating him – something that even Superman has trouble doing. This is where we’ll see her resilience as a fighter. Lobo may be stronger, but Crush could be smarter. Lastly, and this is more for the readers, their conversation as they meet will be a classic one. Yes, this next issue could be the best of the series so far.
