Hotstreak makes a deal

Comic book: Static season 1 No. 3

In issue No. 1 of Static, Hotstreak showed up at Virgil’s house looking for a fight and got it. After a brief encounter in issue No. 2, he was outsmarted and beaten. As everyone could have predicted, that wasn’t the end of their rivalry.

Issue No. 3 started with Hotstreak offering his services to a clandestine organization to capture Bang Babies. Obviously, this was his way of getting back at Virgil. The end of the issue shows Hotstreak at Virgil’s school working with his new employers.

Shang-Chi’s mother returns

Comic book: Shang-Chi No. 4

Shang-Chi had a dream about his childhood home: A palace that vanished from Earth years ago. Instead of being on Earth, Shang dreamt it was in the Negative Zone. After sneaking into the Baxter Building, he arrives at the palace he saw in his dreams and finds something that he did not expect – his mother alive as she was controlling Negative Zone creatures.

After returning to Shang’s home, his mother hears a voice. The same person that has been speaking to the rest of Shang’s team has contacted her as well.

The Last Ronin is almost over

Comic book: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin

After everything that Michelangelo went through with the death of his family, his fight is almost over. Along with April O’Neil, her daughter, and a group of fighters, they’ve taken back their city. The only thing left to do is to defeat Oroku Hiroto. This is the last issue before this mini-series concludes. If it ends with a bang, The Last Ronin could become a comic book classic.
