9. Spider-Man’s Zombie survival video

A world of zombies isn’t something that would be easy to survive. It’s close to impossible. Thankfully, in this universe, Spider-Man was there to give you a guide. Instructions on the dos and don’ts of a zombie infested world. In typical Peter Parker fashion, it was entertaining.

Considering the world was all but lost, a little levity had to have been needed. Peter’s tutorial added that. The people of that reality weren’t the only ones who needed it. The viewers could use it as well. The previous episode of What If…? (that will be discussed later) was depressing. The lightheartedness in a third consecutive grim episode helped make things a little better.

8. Ultron easily defeats Thanos

Ultron won. He defeated the Avengers and destroyed the world. Then the Mad Titan Thanos appeared. He was in search of the Infinity Stones and Ultron had one. As soon as Thanos appeared, Ultron cut him in half with a beam from the Mind Stone. A very anticlimactic, but jaw-dropping end to his reign.

There’s a short list of people that have defeated Thanos one-on-one. There have been teams that fought him and have lost. Ultron did it before Thanos could speak. He simply cut the MCU’s big bad in half and took the stones from him. A move that will not be replicated.
