5. What If…? Uatu vs Ultron

The casual fan doesn’t know much about Uatu. To them, all he does is watch. The informed know that he’s a powerful cosmic being. That said, not even this writer knew that Uatu could fight well if it came down to it.

Uatu and Ultron battled throughout multiple universes. The fight seemed evenly matched until Ultron broke out the power of the Infinity Stones. At that point, all Uatu could do was retreat. Hope may have seemed lost, but Uatu had one more trick up his sleeve. He had a powerful doctor in need of some redemption.

4. Guardians of the Multiverse vs Ultron

The Guardians of the Multiverse had to keep Ultron distracted. When you’re fighting an omnipotent entity, that’s going to be a tough hill to climb. Then again, these are some of the multiverse’s greatest heroes. They were up for the challenge and succeeded in keeping Ultron busy with superb teamwork.

Each of the characters kept Ultron off balance with hit after hit. After only being together a short time, you’d think their chemistry would be off. It wasn’t at. They didn’t trip over each other once and followed Captain Carter’s orders like they were coming from their own leader. As of now, this is the smoothest TV comic book fight of the year.
